Brain Gym - introduction to learning kinesiology
Brain Gym was originally developed by Dr Paul Dennison for children with learning difficulties at school. He believed that there is no such thing as an inability to learn, but rather a blockage. Today, this programme is used in over 80 countries.
Brain Gym is based on the assumption that movement of the body gets the brain fit and is therefore gymnastics for the brain. Brain Gym includes a series of lively, fun and invigorating exercises that can be incorporated into everyday learning without any extra effort. With the help of Brain Gym exercises, blockages are released and the central functions of the brain are integrated, allowing the full learning potential to be realised.
In this one-day course you will learn
- what Brain Gym is
- the biological requirements for learning
- different activation exercises
- the three dimensions of the brain
- the four different learning types
- simple Brain Gym exercises to support yourself in everyday life

Acupressure - well-being to the point
Acupressure therapy aims to influence the energetic potential of the human being. The energy flow inside the body is accessible from the skin through certain cavities, depressions and entrances. These particularly suitable places on the skin, the acupressure points, are located on the meridians (energy channels). The aim of the treatment is to reach and modulate the flow of energy.
Acupressure can be practised by anyone interested and can be used to treat symptoms of acute and chronic diseases.
In this evening course you will learn
- what a meridian is
- the 14 main meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- the triad of health
- different activation exercises
- how to test muscles
- the “pause lock”
- how to treat everyday symptoms with acupressure points
- a simple technique to identify individually strengthening acupressure points
